Yesterday, the Basque Government approved the Basque Country Air Quality Plan 2030, which includes 28 actions based on 5 strategic axes: air pollution and health; sustainable mobility and urban regeneration; reduction of pollution in other key sectors; improved control, monitoring and evaluation of air quality; and training, education and public awareness.

Among the actions included is support for the establishment of Low Emission Zones (LEZs) in agglomerations of less than 50,000 inhabitants.
