The Ekoetxeas, the network of environmental centres in the Basque Country promoted by Ihobe, have submitted their candidacy for the New European Bauhaus (NEB) Prizes, an initiative of the European Commission that recognises exemplary projects integrating sustainability, inclusion and aesthetics in the transformation of territories.
The work involved the preparation and submission of the candidacy, as well as the identification of opportunities for positioning and valorisation of the project within the European framework. This support has highlighted the role of the Ekoetxeas as reference spaces for environmental education, citizen participation and the promotion of the ecological transition in the Basque Country.
Naider assisted Ihobe throughout the process, strengthening the international visibility and projection of the Ekoetxeas and helping to secure recognition as an innovative example of environmental public policies aligned with the European sustainability agenda.
