The Scientific Advisory Committee of the Basque Council for Science, Technology and Innovation of the Basque Country has counted on the technical secretariat of Naider for the configuration of the document “Evolution and perspective of the Basque Autonomous Community in Innovation. Analysis of RIS 2023 results”, commissioned by the Lehendakaritza of the Basque Government and, more specifically, the Commissioner for Science, Technology and Innovation.
In addition to assessing the reality of the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation System from the perspective of the methodology used in the Regional Innovation Scoreboard (RIS), a European Commission report that evaluates the performance of innovation in different regions of Europe, the secretariat has activated dynamics of dialogue and collective conversation in the discussions of the Scientific Committee with the aim of surfacing valuable recommendations to be submitted to the Council in order to strengthen the positioning of the Basque Country as a leading country in innovation in Europe.
Contrasts with the Committee members, carried out in close coordination with the Commissioner, have included meetings, working groups, and a contrast of perception and identification of business needs through a questionnaire.
