In order to respond to all the requirements of Law 4/2019 on Energy Sustainability of the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia (DFB) will have a plan that integrates the DFB itself and its entire public sector, defining the measures that each energy action unit will implement to meet the proposed energy efficiency and savings targets.
Following the creation of the DFB’s Sustainability Commission and the preparation of the DFB’s General Energy Action Plan and its monitoring to comply with Law 4/2019, the energy diagnosis of the provincial sector was carried out to consider the optimum formula for integrating it into the DFB’s energy planning and to respond to all the requirements of Law 4/2019 on Energy Sustainability of the Basque Autonomous Community.
In this diagnosis, the energy consumption data of each of the entities from 2016 to 2022 was compiled and the relevant inventories of the buildings, facilities and vehicle fleet associated with them were carried out.
The Provincial Council of Bizkaia once again relies on NAIDER’s technical assistance for the drafting of the DFB’s integrated General Energy Action Plan.
