Next January, thanks to a collaboration between the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), an international event aimed at entrepreneurs will take place in Bilbao, called Bilbao Bizkaia Entrepreneurship Meetup 2015.
This event, generated by the Department of Economic Promotion and the team MIT Global Startup Workshop (MIT GSW), a group specialized in promoting entrepreneurship, will bring together more than 200 people, including participants and attendees at this meeting on the creation of new businesses . It is expected that, before January, different activities and initiatives will be launched, among which we will find a competition of business ideas. The objective of this initiative is to promote collaboration between different sectors committed to the creation of companies and to generate debate, ideas, as well as sharing best entrepreneurial practices.
A very interesting experience in which we also hope to hear some lessons learned from failed experiences, sectors other than scientific and technological ones are dealt with, and potential investors are present so that this interesting event becomes a real cradle of new driving businesses of the Basque economy.
