The Basque Country is getting wet with a promising initiative to reinforce its industrial ecosystem with the development of advanced technologies. The Basque Government, in collaboration with twelve of the main companies and multinationals with a presence in the Basque Country, launched yesterday, July 6, the startup acceleration program Bind 4.0, with which it seeks to attract to the CAV the best entrepreneurial initiatives, at an international level, aimed at the development of Industry 4.0: 3D printing, collaborative robotics, cyber-physical systems, augmented reality, cloud computing, big data, artificial vision , or cybersecurity.

The initiative will provide the selected startups with financing, advice, and the possibility of networking in contact with the technology centers, but the main differential value with respect to other equivalent programs is access to a first-class commercial contact . The leading companies that collaborate with the program, including CAF, Iberdrola or DanobatGroup, Mercedes, or Michelin, have committed to collaborating with the startups in the development of a project. With all of this, it is hoped that, in addition to attracting international talent, it will activate the innovative talent of Basque companies, and position the Basque Country in the world as a benchmark for advanced industrial development.
