On October 21, elections are called for the Parliament of the Basque Autonomous Community. The representatives elected in that assembly will elect the lehendakari who will represent the Basques in the world and who will lead a government that will manage many billions of eurosand a couple of million of citizen wills.
Setting priorities will therefore not be an easy task for her/him and their team. The political parties from which his designation emanates do not seem to be going through their best moments either and they are seen, in general, somewhat insecure in their drive and not very courageous in their programmatic proposals.
It is true that the structural crisis we are going through is making it very difficult, but many times the endogamic process that all the country’s political structures have suffered for many years makes it difficult to introduce into their apparatuses and work programs the ideas, proposals and priorities that the civil society wants to transfer them directly or through their intellectual, social, economic, cultural and environmental leaders.
