Despite being a percentage that is still high for the times we live in, it should be remembered that the average for the Spanish state is 22%.
It is true that poverty can be a subjective term, for this reason, the company in charge of the study understands as a risk of poverty single-person households with income below €7,961 per year or households with 2 adults and 2 children with an income of less than €16,719 per year.
The report also reveals that the cities that suffer the most from poverty are those located in the southern half of the peninsula.
