Germany no carbures

These are not the best times for the Teutons, the Volkswagen scandal is joined by the latest data confirming a significant drop in exports German exports during the month of August, thus suffering the biggest drop since 2009, at the height of the crisis.

In any case, in comparison with the data obtained at the same time last year, German exports experienced a year-on-year rise of 5%. As far as imports are concerned, these also suffered a drop no less exaggerated than exports since the drop reached up to 3.1%.

In global terms, despite the fact that the trade balance ended up being positive, these latest data confirm the negative trend that its economy has been experiencing in recent times, while, on the opposite side, other countries of the European Union seem to be beginning to minimally avoid the ravages of the economic collapse.
