Researchers from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) participate in the European project PERSSILAA that will develop and validate a new model of services for the detection and prevention of frailty in the elderly from the functional, cognitive and nutritional point of view.

The project PERSIILAA, PERsonalised ICT Supported Service for Independent Living and Active Aging, in addition to developing remote service modules and offering a technical support infrastructure to users, is committed to innovating in the way of providing these services, going from a model fragmented as the current one to a preventive one through a local community of caregivers supported by health professionals integrated into the health system.
