Seventh day of COP21.
More than 30 countries (including Spain, Uruguay, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom and Paraguay) and organizations such as the FAO have joined the “4 per thousand” initiative, a pioneering project that aims to contribute to the mitigation of change climate change and food security through interventions that increase the carbon sequestration capacity of agricultural soils. Spain will contribute through research and innovation activities focused on improving crop productivity, efforts concentrated on an interdisciplinary panel of experts.
