Thanks to Science we can present you this interesting video focused on social mobility, which is something as well as the ability to progress up the social ladder. Through a series of apparently random interviews, the video projects the idea that social mobility is directly related to the place where we were born (what sociologists call urban determinism) and especially with the education received.

The video is shot in the US, where perhaps crossing those social barriers is even more complicated than in Europe, where access to education and cultural goods does not depend so much on disposable income. Even so, it also applies directly to our environment, especially in these years of dismantling of the public education system.
