The end of the physical computer infopost vrai

Google believes that computers as physical devices will no longer accompany us in our daily lives. Google CEO Sundar Pichai announces, in a letter addressed to the company’s shareholders, that “the next big step” will be the demise of the device concept itself. Instead, he points out that the computer will be a virtual “intelligent assistant” that will help us throughout the day, in a world where activity will not occur primarily on the rectangular smartphone screen, but where formless computers will be powered by artificial intelligence.

Google has put a lot of effort into developing artificial intelligence technologies, such as machine learning for the software used for web services and apps like Google Translate, and Pichai’s view may therefore be very optimistic. How far will we see the evolution of artificial intelligence virtual assistants?
