The environmental crisis after the economy

Crisis, from the Greek “krisis” means “separate” or “decide”, due to the current economic situation we have this word related to the economy, despite not being its only use. From the hand of Noam Chosky, famous American writer and activist, we echo the environmental crisis “much more dangerous than the economic one” through a colloquium in which he participated in Mexico.

Chosky spoke of the need for a new educational model in which youth are taught to think for themselves and create environmental awareness in the new generations. In turn, the thinker compared the destruction of species today with that which occurred 65 million years ago.

“The political and economic are academic issues: there is an even bigger crisis, which is the one that is going to destroy us all unless something is done about it, the environmental crisis.”
