The frost on the roads had become a logistical problem both in operational and political terms for many towns that saw how with the snow also came delays, cuts and stoppages, with the consequent consequences that this entails.

For this reason, the company SICO and the Instituto Tecnológico del Plástico (Aimplas) have developed a new system that will use renewable energies (specifically wind and solar energy) to auto- stock up on salt and be able to cover the areas with the greatest complexity of access and the greatest danger by means of ruts in the roads that are reminiscent of irrigation systems.

To test the system, the town of Teruel has been chosen and if the evaluations are positive, the companies responsible for the system have already prepared a possible outlet for the Russian market.
