The havoc of the thaw

Despite the good news that comes to us from the most developed countries in their fight against climate change and the commitment to renewable energies, we cannot fail to take into account that there is still a long way to go and that the consequences of this misfortune can already be seen more clearly than we would like on our planet.

One of the towns in question that is noticing the harshness of climate change first hand is Shishmaref, Alaska and with 563 inhabitants, this small town is at serious risk of disappearing in the short term due to thawing of the ice blocks of the Arctic and if it has not done so, it has been because the people themselves have gradually “displaced” from the coast, something that they will not be able to do forever.
