Last week I It was time to close the V Course “Cities of the Future: from strategic planning to urban governance” organized by the University of Deusto, the Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Monterrey and Bilbao Metropoli-30. I share here the document to conduct the exhibition, which was focused on three main axes:
- A few first ideas about the dimensions of an urban world, the different paradigms that are being used in its analysis and some implications about the growing importance of cities to understand some of today’s dynamics.
- A second part more focused on some elements of urban economy, especially from the perspective of the management of public economic promotion policies, since this was one of the topics that could most interest the participants in the course, students from the Graduate School of Public Administration and Public Policy (EGAP) of the Tecnológico de Monterrey.
- And a third part that is more purposeful with a selection of some dynamics that I find more interesting for the urban future
What to expect from the future of cities?< /a>
