Berlin seeks to be a city resilient to climate change, replacing asphalt and concrete surfaces with permeable surfaces of grass and moss. It is a concept with cheaper implementation and maintenance costs than the construction of new sewage systems, and in addition to reducing the financial impact of extreme rainfall, it improves the quality of life of the residents with new green spaces and natural climate control.
