Is GDP the best index of economic progress? It is true that the economic growth of any country it requires an objective and quantitative tool for its measurement, but this indicator is not capable of measuring justice, environmental sustainability, or the well-being of a society, although it can provide clues. It may be time to bet on new meters that can express, as far as possible, these concepts, without hiding behind only GDP.
