Video: Kamikatsu, the zero waste town

The small Japanese rural town of Kamikatsu, population 1,700, can be considered a world leader in waste disposal, with up to 34 recycling categories. All organic waste is handled within each home and is 100% reused, and the rest of the waste is taken by each person to the local collection center, there are no garbage trucks.
