DEK-Durangaldea Enpresa Ekimena, the new entity for the economic promotion of the region, the result of collaboration between public agents, vocational training and technological development centers and the companies themselves, was officially presented last Friday, December 2 at the Errota Kultur Zentroa in Abadiño.

Mireia Elkoroiribe, President of Durangoko Merinaldearen Amankomunazgoa – Mancomunidad de la Merindad de Durango and President of Dek, and on behalf of the City Council of Abadiño the Mayor Mikel Garaizabal participated in the welcoming, on behalf of Eusko Jaurlaritza – Hezkuntza Saila, the Vice Councilor of Vocational Training Jorge Arevalo Turrillas, and on behalf of Bizkaiko Foru Aldundia, the Deputy of Economic Promotion Ainara Basurko.

The round tables brought together some of the agents who have been promoters of the initiative, among others: Eztibaliz Martiartu, Councilor for Economic Promotion and Employment of Amorebieta-Etxano City Council; Xabier González, Manager of AZTERLAN Metallurgy Research Centre; Daniel Irazola, Director of Maristak Durango; Esther Elexgaray, Director of IURRETA LHII; idoia Atxaga, Director of CIFP ZORNOTZA LHII; Kepa Jon Arana, Manager of BRUSS JUNTAS TECNICAS and Vice President of the Durangaldea Business Association; Katia de Luis, Strategic Planning Director of Gestamp; Isidoro Sánchez, Managing Director of OZASAN Gestión Global de Renovables; Leire Legarreta Antuñano, CEO and Founder of We Are Clickers; and Sergio Ruiz de Larrea Aranzeta, Commercial Director of ONA EDM.
