NAIDER has submitted a proposal to BEAZ Bizkaia for the preparation of the study-diagnosis of the potential of Bizkaia for economic promotion with a focus on industry and advanced services in the field of the Blue Economy, also known as Blue Economy.
In the context of the strategy to boost regional competitiveness Bizkaia Orekan Sakonduz (BOSz), the Blue Economy, which covers economic activities related to the sea and coasts, is identified as an area of opportunity for Bizkaia, taking into account the differential capacities and strengths of the Historical Territory due to its coastal and littoral component. The Sociedad Foral BEAZ Bizkaia collaborates with the Department of Economic Promotion of the Provincial Council in the deployment of the BOSz strategy. The diagnosis of Bizkaia’s positioning in the Blue Economy is proposed in line with the priorities and objectives of the County Council’s regional competitiveness strategy.
