NAIDER begins the year with great news. The project Horizon 2020 in which we are participants has been approved by the European Commission. We are embarking on the first, hopefully, of many European projects. SCORE is the acronym taken by the project entitled Smart COntrol of the Climate Resilience in Eeuropean coastal cities que seeks to increase the resilience to climate change of coastal cities European. For this, an integrated framework-methodology will be used based on three Main axes: 1) Participatory method of the “Living Lab”; 2) Ecosystem-based approach/adaptation; 3) technologies smart.

Nader’s task will be to co-lead the second package of work in which it is sought to land the different technologies and systems of adaptation based on ecosystems in the different “living labs” located in 10 different cities/regions of 7 European countries. The work will consist in accompanying the “coastal cities living labs” (living laboratories in the coastal cities) throughout the design, execution and closure phase of the project. All this will be done with the help of the different agents of each place and taking into account the idiosyncrasies of each territorial context.
