Jokin Etxebarria Alvarez (Gatika, 1992). He graduated in Economics from the Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea and has an MSc in Business & Management from the Aston Business School.
He joins the NAIDER project to strengthen the team’s skills in the field of economic analysis and strategic planning.
During his career as an analyst, he has participated in the preparation, follow-up and monitoring of the Strategic Plans of different entities. He has made projections of income statements, analysis and monitoring of indicators and reporting to the executive management and the board of directors.
He also has experience in feasibility analysis and calculation of the economic impact of sales or investments, in data quality improvement projects and in the implementation of control environments.

Significant projects in his professional career
- Participation, follow-up and monitoring of the Banco Sabadell Group Strategic Plan 2019 – 2023.
- Data quality improvement project at Banco Sabadell. Analysis of the quality of financial information through analysis of massive data, in order to assess the quality of the information used and implement improvements in the deficiencies found.
- Robust implementation of control environments within the different processes of the Banco Sabadell Group.
- Participation in the CaixaBank Group’s “Stress Test” regulatory exercise, under the guidelines of the European Central Bank.
- Preparation, follow-up and monitoring of the 2018-2022 CaixaBank Group Strategic Plan.
- Preparation of the 2017 and 2018 budgets of the CaixaBank Group
- Participation in the regulatory exercise “Recovery Plan” of the Caixabank Group, under the guidelines of the EBA (European Banking Authority).
- Assessment of the socioeconomic impact of the public programs to support entrepreneurship of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa 2011-2014. Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa 2015.
- Strategic analysis of solar thermal energy and CSP (Concentrated Solar Plants) in the world for the energy cluster of the Basque Country.
