Marta Iturriza Mendia (Donostia, 1993). She is a doctor in applied engineering, with a master’s degree in management and graduated in mechanical engineering from the University of Navarra. His interests have led him to specialize in urban sustainability, climate resilience and citizen collaboration.
He has joined the Naider team to promote new projects and initiatives aimed at building cities and territories that are more sustainable and aware of the environment.
Marta brings with her professional experience in the academic field with participation in European and local projects that have resulted in collaborations with different international organizations, universities and European cities. Besides, His teaching experience reinforces his communication and interlocution skills.

Main features of professional career
- 2021 Naider. Engineer at urban and territorial development projects.
- 2016-2020 University of Navarre. researcher. Development of documents for Horizon projects 2020 and LIFE, design and promotion of conference materials, management of databases, organization of events, communications with partners of projects, local and regional governments, development of packages of European project work on sustainable urban development.
- 2018-2020. University of Navarre. Teacher. Professor of subjects of the degree of Engineering of Industrial Organization such as Logistics, Databases or Research operative. Always adding to the teaching content the perspective of sustainability.
- 2016 GKN-Driveline. Responsible internal and external logistics of a section of the company.
- 2015 – 2016 Master in Management at the University of Navarra with high collaboration with companies in the Basque territory and Navarra.
- 2011 – 2015 Graduated in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Navarra. Having completed a semester at the California Polytechnic University, Cal Poly in California, USA.
