The project seeks to be an innovative model of nature-based solutions for the naturalization, environmental revitalization and revaluation of an environment degraded by intensive industrial activity.

Located in a privileged enclave, the project focuses on the empowerment as a local opportunity of a peri-urban space, currently polluted by the intensive work of the timber industry, renaturalizing it through Nature-Based Solutions. The aim is to recover a degraded environment, for the use and enjoyment of the citizens, while combating the loss of biodiversity and promoting the conservation and enhancement of the natural capital and ecosystem services of the area. From the development of the explanatory technical report, the collaboration with Naider will include a set of activities of characterization and diagnosis of the space, as well as the proposal of renaturalization options. It will also include possibilities for the use of spaces not destined for naturalization, in particular of the buildings to be revalued. Within this framework, possible financial mechanisms and economic instruments will be identified to facilitate or accelerate its implementation.
