On January 30th, the second workshop with schools from the municipality of Ortuella was held, framed within the context of the 2030 Agenda. The schools that took part were San Félix Ikastola, CEIP Otxartaga HLHI and Ortuella BHI. The aim of these workshops is to organize a second-hand market, which will take place on April 30th at the Otxartaga school itself and is linked to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12: Responsible Consumption.

During the first workshop, held on December 4th, different working groups were formed with students from the various schools. These groups identified the necessary actions to carry out the market, including the creation of a poster and a promotional video, the management of shifts and materials needed for the final event, as well as the organization of the collection of products donated by local residents.

During the second workshop, all these actions were reviewed and the students began to actively work on their implementation, with the support of eco-delegates and session facilitators from NAIDER. New responsibilities were also assigned, and progress was made in planning by setting objectives for the next workshop, which will take place on March 27th, when students will meet again to continue working on the organization of the event.

These types of activities strengthen students’ autonomy, management skills and critical thinking, which will be reflected in a real event in which they participate actively from the very beginning.
