The Bay Awards, a platform promoted by the Bilbao Metropoli 30 association as a connector and showcase for urban projects and initiatives of outstanding international success, had its first big premiere day yesterday at the Sala BBK with the first day of the Urban Revolution Aurrera conference, bringing together on stage world-renowned experts who are jury members of the awards: Christian Bason, Gabriella Gomez-Mont, Sophie Howe, Geci Karuri-Sebina, David Miller, Carlos Moreno, Farah Naz FCIBSE, Carmen Santana and Larry Lye Hock Ng.
On the first day we had the opportunity to listen to the ideas and experiences of some of these people of reference, and the programme continues today, 26 October, with the rest of the presentations and knowledge exchange activities.
NAIDER collaborates with Bilbao Metropoli 30 (together with great friends such as Tecnalia, Gaia and TechFriendly) in the implementation of the initiative and also in the analysis of the candidatures for the awards to be presented in March 2024.
We would like to congratulate Bilbao Metropoli 30 for the initiative and especially its director, Idoia Postigo, who together with Ainhoa Irazu, Head of Institutional Relations, have once again become magnificent ambassadors for the city, making it possible to lay the foundations of this urban revolution based on reason, sustainability, social justice and cutting-edge technology.
