{"id":17513,"date":"2022-12-13T09:19:36","date_gmt":"2022-12-13T08:19:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/naider.com\/naiderlab\/inventario-de-emisiones-de-gei-del-pais-vasco-2020\/"},"modified":"2023-04-24T13:38:56","modified_gmt":"2023-04-24T11:38:56","slug":"inventory-of-ghg-emissions-of-the-basque-country-2020","status":"publish","type":"naiderlab","link":"https:\/\/naider.com\/en\/naiderlab\/knowledge\/documents\/inventory-of-ghg-emissions-of-the-basque-country-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Inventory of GHG Emissions of the Basque Country 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ihobe, the Basque Government&#8217;s environmental society, publishes the inventory of Greenhouse Gases (GHG) for each of the provinces of the Basque Country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihobe.eus\/publications\/inventory-greenhouse-gas-emissions-basque-country-2020-historical-territories\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">see link<\/a><\/p >\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/naider.siropeprojects.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/GHG-Emissions-Inventory- del-Pais-Vasco-2020_2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5022\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After the publication of the Euskadi inventory (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihobe.eus\/publications\/inventario-emisiones-gases-efecto-invernadero-pais-vasco-2020-territorios-historicos\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">here <\/a>) In this new document, the evolution of GHG emissions from 2005 to 2020 is analyzed for each province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Euskadi reduced its emissions by 35% in that period, compared to 27% in the EU.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Araba reduced 25%, Bizkaia 34% and Gipuzkoa 41%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is important to note that 2020 was not a typical year due to the pandemic.
