The award-winning project, by the architects Israel Mart\u00ednez Villa and Ram\u00f3n Ruiz Cuevas, has achieved 70% savings in the building&#8217;s electricity costs through the installation of photovoltaic panels for self-consumption and a ventilation system with heat recovery, in addition to the resolution of efficiency problems in the facades and roofs. The accessibility of the portals has also been improved.<\/h3>\n<h3>The building, which consists of three portals and 30 apartments, is located in the Zaramaga neighborhood of Vitoria-Gasteiz, a working-class neighborhood born with the industrial development of the early 1960s, so the challenges of efficiency to those that have been answered are common to many other buildings.
