The interactive web tool <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renewables.ninja\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Renewables.ninja<\/a>, developed by researchers at <a href=\"http:\/\/www3.imperial.ac.uk\/ newsandeventspggrp\/imperialcollege\/newssummary\/news_5-9-2016-16-22-36\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Imperial College London<\/a> and from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ethz.ch\/en\/news-and-events \/eth-news\/news\/2016\/09\/new-simulations-of-wind-power-generation.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ETH Z\u00fcrich<\/a>, aims to make it easier to predict renewable energy production anywhere on the map. <\/h3>\n<h3>The app is based on detailed weather information on wind speed and insolation collected by NASA over the past 30 years. To test the tool, the researchers who have developed the application have used it to estimate the productivity of all wind farms under construction or planned for the next 20 years in Europe, and the results have been published in the <a href=\" magazine. http:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0360544216311811\"><em>Energy<\/em><\/a>.
