With just 49 parts compared to 5,000 or 6,000 for conventional cars, <em><a title=\"The Strati\" href=\"https:\/\/localmotors.com\/3d-printed-car\/\" target=\"_blank \" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">The Strati<\/a> <\/em>is how this vehicle of the future has been sponsored.<\/p>\n<p>Local Motor launched a campaign for the design and production of the vehicle which won <a title=\"Michael Anoe\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/micheleanoe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Michele Anoe<\/ to>. The product was presented at the <a title=\"IMTS\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imts.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">International Manufacturing Technology Exhibition (IMTS)<\/a > and is capable of reaching 60 km\/h and has an endurance of 200 km on a single charge. Obviously, it still has many limitations for daily life, but it is a ray of hope to see something tangible and that progress is present.
