PINE will manufacture and supply 92 ICRS control cabinets for intersections of the European X-FEL.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">The <a href=\"xfel.desy.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">X-FEL<\/a> e<\/span> <span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">it is one of the 35 large facilities that the European Union carries out through a research infrastructure plan, with the aim of helping European researchers to produce science competitive. At the moment, twelve countries are participating in the project (Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">The use of this <\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">laser will allow <\/span><span style=\"line-height : 1.5em;\">analyze matter on an atomic scale, and the pulses of X radiation will be so fast that with the information obtained it will be possible to build a three-dimensional movie of molecular interactions. Among the possible applications of this infrastructure, the analysis of the structure of individual cell membranes of protein molecules stands out, which would allow the development of medicines, since 60% of those that currently exist act on proteins of membrane.
