In vitro experiments show that the substance distributes properly within tumor cells and causes their death, while healthy cells, such as red blood cells, remain spared.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">Although the results, which have been published in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.journals.elsevier.com\/journal-of-controlled-release\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Journal of Controlled Release<\/a>, look promising, still very preliminary. <\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">The next step is to check its efficacy in in vivo tests in mice.
