However, official statistics usually present a time lag, making it difficult to access up-to-date information when it is most needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this context, INNOBASQUE, the Basque Innovation Agency, has launched a new edition of the Early Estimate of the R&amp;D Indicator project, continuing work carried out on an annual basis to anticipate the evolution of R&amp;D expenditure in the Basque Country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Naider supports INNOBASQUE by applying its own <strong>established econometric methodology<\/strong>, developed and refined over successive editions of the indicator. The approach combines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Quantitative analysis of relevant economic and technological variables.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A qualitative component based on expert interpretation and in-depth knowledge of the Basque R&amp;D ecosystem.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This methodology makes it possible to produce <strong>reliable forward estimates<\/strong> and to reduce the uncertainty associated with delays in official statistical sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project will update the early estimate of the R&amp;D Indicator for 2025 and develop a projection for 2026.
