Yesterday, 4th October, Naider took part in the II. Ciudades del Futuro Congress held at the Campos El\u00edseos Theatre in Bilbao, where more than 250 people gathered to listen to experts and representatives of organizations that address the challenges and opportunities facing cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naider had the pleasure of collaborating in the implementation of the event, organised by EL CORREO together with Bilbao Urban & Cities Design, in which the city councils of Barakaldo<\/a>, Ermua<\/a> and Sestao<\/a>, Tech Friendly, Edinor, MUBIL<\/a>, the Bilbao Bizkaia Water Consortium<\/a>, Tecnalia, Inkolan, Abora and BaskEgur also collaborated. Sponsors of the congress were the Science and Innovation Cities Network<\/a> (Red Innpulso), Iberdrola, RENFE and Visesa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The congress featured outstanding lectures by experts in urban development, including international references such as Arnaud Grignard, researcher at the MIT City Science Lab, or Yann Fran\u00e7oise, head of the Climate Unit of the Paris City Council, as well as six round tables in which mobility, sustainability, innovation, governance and economy were discussed in terms of present and future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our colleague Haizea Aguirre, Principal Urban Architect at Naider, was the moderator of the round table “Green and Healthy Municipalities – Renaturalisation”, with the participation of Pedro Calaza<\/a>, President of the Spanish Association of Public Parks and Gardens, Efr\u00e9n Feliu Torres<\/a>, manager of climate change adaptation at Tecnalia, Hektor Orbe Abarrategi, deputy director of development initiatives and strategy of the Water Consortium of Bilbao-Bizkaia, and Javier L\u00f3pez Herranz, tenant of the Water Consortium of Bilbao-Bizkaia, manager of climate change adaptation at Tecnalia, Hektor Orbe Abarrategi<\/a>, deputy director of initiative and strategy development of the Bilbao-Bizkaia Water Consortium, and Javier L\u00f3pez Herranz<\/a>, deputy mayor for Sustainable and Resilient City of Sant Boi de Llobregat City Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
