The Vitoria-Gasteiz Industry Roundtable<\/a> has held a new working session focused on the deployment of the 2025\u20132029 Industry Support Plan<\/strong>, promoted by Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council<\/a> as a roadmap to strengthen the competitiveness and transformation of the city’s industrial fabric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting brought together around thirty institutional representatives and stakeholders linked to Vitoria-Gasteiz’s industrial ecosystem, reinforcing coordination and joint working around the Plan’s key challenges in the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session was attended by Mar\u00eda Nanclares<\/strong>, the councillor responsible for the Department of Economic Promotion, Employment, Commerce and Tourism, who set out the objectives of the Industry Support Plan. Also present on behalf of the Council’s political leadership were Maite De Juan<\/strong>, Director General of the Department; Mikel Intxaurbe<\/strong>, Director General of Urban Planning; and Jorge Ozc\u00e1riz<\/strong>, Director General of Strategic Public Space Projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the technical assistance NAIDER provides to the City Council for the development of the Plan, Pau Mu\u00f1oz<\/strong>, specialist in Innovation and Competitiveness, presented the Plan’s key strategic lines and led the discussion on the governance model, strategic objectives, and management tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Industry Roundtable is the city’s principal multi-stakeholder dialogue body<\/strong> on industrial matters. The new Plan places this body at the centre of coordination between the City Council and the economic and social actors involved in the city’s industrial development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As her well-deserved retirement approaches, we would like to take this opportunity to recognise the outstanding contribution of Juncal Ibeas<\/strong>, who was also present at the meeting, across so many years of support for Gasteiz’s economy. Juncal Ibeas is Head of the Business Services Unit within the Department of Economic Promotion and has held a range of management responsibilities at the Council that have shaped her commitment to public service. Juncal has built networks, facilitated processes, and mobilised stakeholders to make Vitoria a more competitive city and to bring the Council closer to the businesses of the city.
