The XIX General Assembly of Innobasque, the Basque Innovation Agency<\/a><\/strong>, brought together today the organisations that form part of the Basque innovation ecosystem to approve the new Strategic Plan 2026\u20132030<\/strong>, a document that will set the organisation’s priorities for the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new plan identifies a number of key issues for the future of the Basque Country as its main lines of action, including strategic foresight, knowledge transfer, business competitiveness, the energy and climate transition, talent attraction, and strengthening the Basque presence in European research and innovation spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the Assembly, the President of Innobasque, Imanol Rego<\/strong>, stressed the need to adapt and reinforce the Basque Country’s positioning in a rapidly changing global context. For her part, the Agency’s Director General, Leire Bilbao<\/strong>, framed this challenge within a landscape defined by technological acceleration, industrial transformation, the energy and climate transition, and growing international competition for talent and knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session highlighted the importance of strengthening collaboration between public administrations, businesses, knowledge centres and social stakeholders in order to successfully address these challenges and consolidate the territory’s innovative capacity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NAIDER, an associate member of Innobasque since its foundation, took part in the event, at which the role of associate organisations was also underscored \u2014 both as active participants in the Basque innovation strategy and as key agents in driving initiatives oriented towards impact and sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an organisation that has been an associate member since Innobasque’s founding, NAIDER will continue to contribute to strengthening the Basque innovation ecosystem<\/strong> drawing on our expertise in ecological transition, competitiveness and territorial innovation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
