Haizea Aguirre, Urban Regeneration Coordinator at NAIDER, took part in the 2026 Madrid Cities Forum<\/a><\/strong>, held at IFEMA Madrid, to share the experience of the Bilbao Data Observatory and its Digital Twin<\/strong>, an initiative led by Bilbao City Council to strengthen the capacity for observation, analysis and understanding of urban processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transforming cities increasingly requires the ability to interpret complex information, identify emerging trends and turn data into useful knowledge for decision-making. In this context, urban observatories<\/strong> and digital twins<\/strong> are opening new possibilities for better understanding how territories evolve, identifying trends and evaluating the impact of public interventions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session provided an opportunity to exchange experiences with public administrations, technology companies, universities and professionals working in the fields of urban digitalisation<\/strong>, innovation and smart city management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
