From 1 to 3 July, Haizea Aguirre, Urban Regeneration Coordinator at NAIDER, took part in the European Post-Industrial UNIC Cities Leaders Forum, held in Zagreb as part of the UNIC European University alliance<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forum brought together city leaders, universities, businesses and communities from 10 European cities<\/strong> to co-create solutions to shared urban challenges: climate action, affordable housing, and open innovation governance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haizea joined the working session on the transition towards climate-neutral smart cities<\/strong> fostering urban revitalisation and regeneration<\/strong>, alongside representatives from the University of Deusto, the City of \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, the University of Li\u00e8ge, University College Cork and the University of Zagreb \u2014 contributing the perspective of those who work alongside cities and territories in urban regeneration and revitalisation processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NAIDER attended as part of the Bilbao delegation, led by Mayor Juan Mari Aburto and co-led by the City of Bilbao<\/a> and the University of Deusto<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
