The World Economic Forum’s Global Cooperation Barometer 2024 points to a slowdown in multilateral cooperation in the post-pandemic, with a 2% decline since 2020, and points to the need to reimagine cooperation in a context of polycrisis.

To quantify the changes, the barometer identifies 42 indicators that measure cooperation actions or the outcome of cooperation around five pillars: trade and capital, innovation and technology, climate and natural capital, health and well-being, and peace and security.
