The 65th Technical Committee of Udalsarea, the first of the year 2024, took place last Thursday 11th April in the Plenary Hall of the Donostia City Council.
During the committee, information was provided on the activity of the network in the last quarter and the next lines of work were presented. Among the issues discussed, the initiatives underway by IHOBE in terms of waste management were presented, as well as the context and the work being carried out with regard to the asbestos census and the waste tax. Along these lines, Orio Town Council presented the work carried out in the municipality on the asbestos census, and Usurbil Town Council shared its experience with the generation tax system. In addition, the committee hosted a presentation on the Energy Transition and Climate Change Law of the Basque Country, approved on 8 February.
The meeting brought together more than 40 people, including technicians and managers from local councils, counties and representatives of IHOBE as the coordinating entity of the network and to which we provide technical support from NAIDER.
