GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Environmentalist or engineer or urban planner with postgraduate training and more than five years of experience in strategic processes of ecological transition, energy transformation and urban-territorial regeneration.

We are looking for people who are versatile, committed and curious about the processes of transformation of our environment; people who combine analytical and data management skills with capacity and interest in strategy formulation and planning.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Activate, manage and execute strategic consultancy services (environmental, energy and urban-territorial analysis and strategy) and management of actions in collaboration with public entities (administration and public agencies), scientific-technological agents and/or companies both at local level and in the national and European framework.

In addition, the NAIDER team also regularly participates in dissemination and training activities.

Development of observatories for monitoring and follow-up of urban indicators.
Geographic information analysis
Urban Regeneration Plans
Plans for the regeneration of industrial areas.
Application of climate and environmental criteria in urban planning
Energy Transition and Sustainable Urban Planning Initiatives
Local Energy Action Plans
Ecological Transition and Circular Economy Initiatives
Local and regional strategic consultancy projects in collaboration with public and private agents.
Design of public policies, drafting of sustainability plans.
Revitalisation of territories in terms of ecology and sustainability.
Carbon footprints of actions, events and companies.

LINKAGE MODEL

Joining the NAIDER staff with a permanent employment contract that can be reviewed annually (initial six-month trial period). The idea is to build a long-term professional career.

MINIMUN EXPERIENCE

At least five years of professional experience relevant to the position.

Full competence in Basque, Spanish and English. Preferably, full competence in all three languages simultaneously.
