Lehendakaritza is driving the project to analyse and review the system for monitoring the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Basque Country, with the aim of advancing towards a Euskadi 2030 evaluation methodology that provides a robust, coherent framework tailored to the realities of the territory.

The 2030 Agenda represents a universal framework for sustainable development, but its effective implementation requires adapting goals and indicators to the specific context of each territory. In the Basque Country, this challenge involves consolidating a monitoring system capable of properly interpreting real progress in economic, social and environmental sustainability, avoiding decontextualised readings of the data.

The project addresses this challenge from a dual perspective: on the one hand, by analysing current performance as reflected in the available indicators; on the other, by carrying out a technical and strategic review of the indicator system itself, assessing its relevance, statistical quality and ability to reflect the priorities of the Basque Agenda.

To carry out this work, Lehendakaritza is supported by Naider’s technical expertise, drawing on its experience in indicator analysis, public policy evaluation and strategic planning.
