The Autonomous Community of Navarra stands out for its strong commitment to innovation, ranking fourth among the most innovative Autonomous Communities according to the Regional Innovation Scoreboard, and third in terms of investment relative to GDP. The region also has active research and development agents, including universities, research centres and business R&D&I units, among other key players.
In this context, Begira, the Innovation Observatory of Navarra, part of the Department of Universities, Innovation and Digital Transformation of the Government of Navarra, has promoted a process of strategic reflection on the state of R&D&I in the region.
This strategic analysis stems from the need to maintain Navarra’s competitiveness. In an environment where innovation is essential to remain competitive, NAIDER will help identify the bottlenecks in R&D&I in the region and develop levers to boost its transformation and growth.
