Ihobe, the Public Environmental Management Agency of the Basque Government, is working with Naider on the preparation of the Environmental Situation Report of the Basque Country 2025, a key tool for understanding and analysing the state of the environment in the Basque Country.
This annual report compiles and analyses a set of environmental indicators that provide a clear, visual and accessible overview of the environmental situation in the Basque Country. The analysis is structured around key thematic areas such as climate change, air and water quality, biodiversity, the circular economy and waste management, among others.
Naider’s contribution focuses on the analysis and processing of environmental data, the structuring of indicators and the design of dynamic data visualisation systems, with the aim of facilitating a clear and accessible interpretation of the information. The report incorporates graphic and interactive resources that allow users to explore the temporal evolution of indicators, compare trends and improve understanding of complex phenomena, both for public decision-makers and for the wider public.
Thanks to this approach, the Environmental Situation Report is consolidated as a useful tool for decision-making, monitoring public policies and assessing environmental progress and challenges, strengthening transparency and access to environmental knowledge in the Basque Country.
