image description The group Materials+Technologies (GMT), created at the San Sebastian Polytechnic School ( UPV/EHU), has carried out research focused on the use of carbon nanotubes to improve the properties of resin coatings that are widely used in various sectors: aeronautics and the automotive industry, especially in structural parts of airplanes and cars.

Within the framework of the European POCO project, coatings based on copolymers have been generated, which present a greater stability than those based solely on epoxy, thus generating more suitable and safe coatings for the industry.
