Creation of the Digital Guide to Nature-Based Solutions in the Basque Country

IHOBE, the Basque Public Society for Environmental Management, has entrusted NAIDER with the creation of the digital guide to Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) interventions implemented in Basque municipalities. The web tool, which will provide structured information on the practices available in the Basque Country, will be configured to be continuously updated with new NBS interventions.

With the approval of the Basque Climate Change Strategy KLIMA 2050 in 2015, the NBS were established in the Basque Country as a coordinated and funded public policy. As a result of the consistent implementation policy, IHOBE has developed different tools and services to help the different actors and public administrations to integrate the NBS within their competences. In anticipation of the increasing frequency of interventions with NBS, a visual web tool is being developed.
