Today we had the opportunity to present the strategic proposal for the design and organisation of the Health and Environment Observatory to the Vice-Ministers and Directors of Environment and Public Health of the Basque Government.
The presentation covered the objectives, functions, health and environment domains, indicators and data sources, the catalogue of products that can be generated and the technological platform to support and visualise the information. All this in the context of understanding the technological, human and economic needs and requirements, considering the possibilities of implementing the lines of work and specific tasks according to different itineraries, depending on the level of technological ambition desired.
Just as we have appreciated the good atmosphere between the technical and management team throughout the project, we would like to reiterate here the vital harmony, technical quality and intelligence that has been invested in the work. We trust that the approaches will bear fruit and that we will be able to continue to participate in the development of an observatory that addresses the complex interaction between population health and environmental indicators.
