The Department of Economic Development, Sustainability and the Environment of the Basque Government has published the 2023 Environmental Profile of the Basque Autonomous Community, for which NAIDER has had the honour of collaborating with IHOBE. Continuing the series of annual profiles, this one focused on the close relationship between the environment, health and well-being, going into greater depth on the importance of environmental health.
The Environmental Profile is the tool that periodically assesses the general situation of the environment in the Basque Country, through a report of key environmental indicators that show the evolution of the main indicators. Its preparation involved the identification and calculation of a series of indicators to define the current state of the environment in the Basque Country and to analyse the challenges and prospects facing Basque society.
